1976 was a great year.  A long hot summer.  I was 11, which always seemed a good age.

1975 was quite a long hot summer too, but not as long and hot as '76 so everyone forgets it!

Both are best forgotton for personal reasons

I started work at my current employer in 1998 and I seem to remember that even into September the weather was still nice.

just to clarify - i'm NOT gay or anything. it's just with this post and my other one about Brokeback Mountain, i'm probably looking more than a little queer.

In 1998 I was 33.  I was in the middle of my OU degree so it's just a blur.  Probably shagged someone senseless at summer school.
