Quote from: Lime CandyMinty do you live in the town of Windermere? That view is beautiful.
No I live by the lake at Bowness-on-windermere
where are you Lime Candy?
Birmingham - see Smurfboy's photo of "Bully"!
But I holiday in Skelwith Bridge every year, and I recognise your view!!
Ah so around the corner near Ambleside....
It's white here snowing.. by the way rather like that bull!
Lucky you - there's no snow here. Cold though.
Bully is rather fine, isn't he? He's in the new Bull Ring in the city centre, he's been vandalised a couple of times (some lowlife carved their name on him), so there's talk of maybe putting him up on a plinth surrounded by spiky railings.
Lime Candy just for you..
FANTASTIC!! Thanks a mill - no, a bill.
Can't wait to get back there - I think it will be July.
Wow, that's some serious winter weather Minty!!
I hope it spreads southwards!

Lime, have you ever been to the Bullring and not seen any Chinese people having their picture taken by the bull?
When I went to Derby on a course I saw a concrete ram in the city centre and people were queuing to have their photo taken with it!
Hastings pier
Hastings from the East Hill views across to the castle ruins on the west Hill and the pier again. This is all part of the old town where the fishing industry is based
I live to the north of Hastings, just two minutes from here which is the site of the Battle Of Hastings in 1066
