In honour of my namesakes, who spend most of their time topless, a new thread:
Girls - Do you go topless on the beach? If not, why not - shyness, or just personal preference? What doyou think about areas like Miami were it is illegal - right or wrong?
Boys - Is tops off strictly for the beach, or do you sit in the park, outside the pub etc. in summer like that? What do you think of places with 'no shirt, no shoes, no service' policies?

That's a lot of questions in one thread Smurfy! Well I must confess I always used to go topless on the beach, both in this country and abroad. However for reasons of embarrassing my children and frightening the public, I no longer do so.
I quite agree with the "no service" policies unless it's a beach cafe in which case it's stupid.

well said black knight! theres nothing worse than a bloke parading himself round semi-naked 24/7 in the summertime. i spent a lot of times working in pubs, and when someone walks in shirtless it just never failed to sicken me. euck! have some decency!
my personal fave - wghats the deal with teenagers who go shirtless, BUT still insist on wearing a puff-jacket! EXPLAIN THAT!

I do not go topless on the beach through shyness and I do have fair skin. Could be painful! I don't mind other ladies going topless on the beach if this is their prefence (and they are not in Davids eye line 
)
Men with no shirts on the beach is fine, but I do think there is a line to wear they can go without their shirts on.
Men on building sites with no shirts on gets my thumbs up though

I agree as long as they don't have beer guts or are too pale skinned.
