right, i'm after a truly horrible song here, and i can't find it anywhere. it's totally sad and annoying but i NEED TO KNOW what it is.
FACTS: released around 1988 - 1991 (in that era of Yazz and first generation techno-music). features a monotone male voice (which practically speaks the lyrics) and a chorus with hi-pitched (probably digitally altered) female vocals. some synthesized sounds.
THE BIG CLUE: the chorus is the same chorus (techno-d up, of course) as 'Rose Garden', made most famous by the like of Dolly Parton. (lyrics below.)
"So smile for a while and let's be jolly:
Love shouldn't be so melancholy.
Come along and share the good times while we can."
