Do you think they all do the same job or do you have a favourite? Do you not stick to the same one or have you used the same brand for years?

I buy whatever is cheapest, and I prefer liquid when I can get it.

I use Liquid Persil. My mum used Persil handwash  decades ago. I don't think it's powders that are not good at their jobs. i think modern fabrics absorb stains and trap them. oldspice38763.6528009259

I always use non-bio, most often Persil but I vary between capsules and powder and tablets depending on the offers.

I use whatever's on special offer but lately his lordship has been complaining of itching and blaming the washing powder.

Who remembers Radion?

Yes I remember Radion, it came in a flourescent orange packet. It emphasised getting rid of smells from clothes in particular! Has it gone to the great laundry basket in the sky now then??

My grandad told me if I ate an apple pip a tree would grow in my tummy. And I believed him. I was worrying for days when I did accidently eat one

It could be worse - I once read about a woman who accidentally made her mother-in-law a Shepherd's Pie with dog food! The funny thing was, she loved it!

My brother (a bit stupid) read a recipe that said egg white could be used in place of milk. He stupidly thought this applied to everything he would ever make including the cup of coffee he made me!!!!!
