Title: Biscuits
Post by: oldspice on February 12, 2006, 10:01:59 am

I used to hate custard creams but I have just re-discovered them after I ordered coffees, teas and biscuits from our hosptiality depratment for a staff meeting and custard creams was all they provided. I enjoyed two of them very much.

Just now I am very fond of bourbons and oaty biscuits that come in little packets in our canteen.

I have a vague memory of pineapple cream fingers that mum used to buy when I was small. She liked those or milk and honey biscuits which were honey jam stuff with cream in a biscuit sandwhich.

Any biscuit favourites/memories out there???

Roll I was never keen on custard creams but think I probably got too many of them as a child because they were one of my mams favourites. I have had them again recently and did enjoy them.

My favourite biscuits are party rings (round with hole in middle and coloured icing ), bourbon, anything ginger, m&s raspberry viennese creams, and of course my all time fave jaffa cakes (yes they are a biscuit).Roll

I always loved Jaffa Cakes, but then again I had little choice - my mom hated them, so she used to buy them every time she was on a diet so she wouldn't be tempted!

My absolute favourite biscuit was Chocolate Crunch from M and S, which they don't make anymore

Sainsbury's American style cookies - any of them but especially the raspberry and white chocolate.  No fond biscuit memories of the past - we didn't have them much.

One of my favs as a kid was Lemon Puffs. not allowed to have them in my house now, cos they taint any other biccies in the tin, due to their stong fragrance

I don't really buy biscuits. I would end up scoffing the pack so it's easier to have none.

My favs are Party Rings, Hob Nobs, Chocolate Hob Nobs, Golden Crunch Creams and Misfits. They don't make those anymore but they were like an oaty biscuit with different shaped holes in the middle.

I love biscuits. One of my biggest vices!

Shortbread brings back fond memories of visiting my Grandparents' house, their biscuit tin was always full of shortbread.
