My best friend was born. Whether that is a good or bad thing can change from day to day!

I was 15, going on 16. Quite a lot of good music (Bowie, Queen, Pink Floyd) and loads of rubbish (Sweet, Glitter).

Can't remember much else.

Cork sandals, Dr Scholls clogs, chain belts? love beads, cheesecloth shirts, smock tops, big flares, skinny rib tops, discotechs,

What was on telly?  Can't remember watching it back then. Corrie of course, Top of the Pops, Crown Court? What else?

Erm.....wasn't it things like Porridge?  The Good Life?  (Or maybe they were later).  Edward the VII must have been around then.

Having checked 'I Love 1973' apparently it was Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, Last of the Summer Wine and Are You Being Served.  So some things have definitely improved....
