Title: Breakfast Cereal
Post by: loulou on February 08, 2006, 12:37:48 am
My fave has always been rice krispies, weetabix in second place and sugar puffs in third. What cereal do you like and why?

Since I was little I have always loved Ready Brek. It is warming on cold days and it really keeps you full for a long time.

Rice Krispies, Bran Flakes and Weetabix.  Occasionally Fitnesse and Special K but find I'm starving by 10 am!  I hate Sugar Puffs - I think it's the texture.  They remind me of rice cakes when they sort of creak as you chew them.

Ricicles, Weetabix and Sultana Bran.

Ricicles because they are nice and sweet and I like the way they go soft.

Hot weetabix as they are nice and filling and warm me up.

Sultana bran and its tasty and keep me moving

I loved Crunchy Nut Cornflakes as a child - well, still do really, just don't eat cereal very often. Sultana Bran or Raisin Splitz are my other faves.

Hmm, my favourites are lucky charms, mini swirlz cinnamon bun cereal, special K purple berries, golden grahams, and fitnesse. My family is sending me a couple boxes of lucky charms and mini swirlz cinnamon bun cereal, so I can't wait for that care package to arrive

Your so lucky sillyyank.

Have you tried the cherry kit kat yet? I found some on eBay but they are well expensive.

Looking at ebay I noticed the packaging on Cherry Kitkats is different, for example at ebay this is one of the auction numbers: 4438918971

The four-finger packet has two seperate two-fingered bars all wrapped up inside. Is this the same for the other varieties of Kitkat in the far east?

The ones from Japan really are cute. I have been able to get some from CyberCandy. They put some much care and attention into it.

CC have you visited Chinatown lately? There are lots of grocery shops there, with all kinds of wonderful (and very cute) things to eat. I was amazed how so many Korean products have Hello Kitty on the packets! So cute!!

No I haven't been there for a while. I will take some time out and wonder through there. I do love all the little cute things that come from that side of the world.

I put the weetabix in a bowl, pour on the milk and mash it up with my spoon and then pop in the microwave for a minute. Breakfast is served...

Yes the plain one not the flavoured ones. They are just expensive versions of porridge - and quite small portions too!

Crispy. I like to eat them while they are still popping. Sometimes i give my dog some and he will sit with his head on one side listening to the snap, crackle and pop.
