I think they existedand I think they might still be around. When I was small, Waggon Wheels were a wonderful, BIG biscuit with lovely chocolate but now they are a sad shadow of themselves.

Does anyone remember those huge Digestives that came in singles and were completely covered in chocolate? You could get plain or milk chocolate ones and they were delicious.

I remember toffeepops, they were gorgeous. I could never buy a packet and save any, I would end up eating them all.

I remember the toffee wagon wheels. They were out when I was at primary school and were a lunch box favourite.

My friend Anne used to bring 2 big bags of onion rings in her lunchbox (I seem to remember they were 10p each?) one of which I would swap for something out of my lunchbox!

And yes, anyone who was anyone had a big old Wagon Wheel in their lunchbox!

I liked school cheese whirls. They were potato and cheese and swirled like a cross section of swiss roll. Have never been able to successfully recreate them at home but apparently they still feature on our school's menu even now! Our school's puddings were pretty foul, I usually had an iced bun or a yoghurt.

Ours were quite nice. They used to do a triangle cake with icing and hundred and thousands on.

I used to like the potatoe things which looked liked they had been piped pot into little squirts and then cooked.
