Am i imagining it but when i was younger like many moons ago in the 70s whenever my mum got a box of milk tray i would steal a sweet the shape of a barrell and i'm sure it was lime flavoured any one rem them...
-
They had one like that in Terry's All Gold - not sure about Milk Tray.
-
I think milk tray had a lime barrel. Oldspice will know for sure.
-
Yes, it certainly did have a lime barrel! They were wonderful. Like lime cordial. And if you remember the Milk Tray bar, the lime barrel was fused onto that too!
Oh why did they get rid of it??? How can a praline compete with a lime barrel?????
-
Becasue nowadays anything more exotic than caramel is nut is apparently unacceptable.
-
The box of Lindt I had recently had a marzipan one in, about as exotic as it gets now
-
Oh for a pineapple cream!!!!!
-
I love fruit creams, but unless you buy fancy chocs you don't get anything more exciting than strawberry or orange now.
-
True. There should be a box with just creams in:
pineapple, lime, balckcurrant, raspberry. lemon, coffee, spearmint, ginger, violet and rose.

-
I'd rather have praline!
-
I would rather drink my own piss than eat a coffee cream, but the others would do me just fine. What about a plum or a blueberry?
-
Hmmm, urine cream. Interesting idea but I don't think it will catch on.
-
Blueberry cream! yes, I'd go for that. Urine cream? I wouldn't piss on it if it was on fire!
-

Cranberry maybe?
-
Cranberries don't seem to have any flavour to me. I'm into Pomegranate juice right now.
-
I love pomegranites but have never had pomegranite juice. Where do you get it from oldspice?
-
Pomegranites?
-
Ok first i think you are asking what one is , then i realise you are being picky over my spelling.
-
You can get the juice in Waitrose. They do it plain or with blueberry. I like the plain one. It's very good for your heart.

Neither actually. I was just pointing out that you get pomegranite juice from pomegranites (however it's spelt). You wanted to know.

-
It would take a long time to extract a glass of juice from some pomegranites.
-
-
Yo ucan get pomegranite juice from M&S at the moment. Its limited edition.
-
It's always for sale in Holland & Barrett
Going back to creams, having tried them recently I don't recommend rose creams. Blueberry is a good idea though.
-
I
Rose Creams.
How could we forget the goosgog, as recently revived by Quality Street?
-
Was that suposed to be Gooseberry? If so, that was nice!
-
I thought everyone called gooseberries goosgogs! Maybe it's just my mother!
-

I thought everyone called gooseberries goosgogs! Maybe it's just my mother!
It's obviously a Midland thing Smurfy - his lordship says it too!
-
Aha! Does he say 'it's black over the back of Bill's mother's' too?
-
Yes he certainly does!
-
What's that mean?
-
It means it looks like rain.
-
I thought everyone called gooseberries goosgogs! Maybe it's just my mother!
We say goosgogs here too.
-
I've heard of goodgogs too
-
Yes he certainly does!
What about 'a face like fourpence'?
-
Like a bulldog chewing a wasp
-
Yes he certainly does!
What about 'a face like fourpence'?
No, not that one. He does belong to a Black Country forum where they're always talking about stuff like this.
-
