Title: Old Forum
Post by: on September 23, 2004, 09:55:52 pm

Has anyone had a look at it ?

Kinda sad like an old friend passing away.

I would get it some flowers, but I have spent all my bloody money on these new Cadbury and Nestle products!

It's certainly a bit quiet lately. Hope scampy can find her way when she gets back from her honeymoon. And how about klopek? I'm sure he pops in now and again without posting so I'm surprised he has not said hello lately.

I just went to the old forum. It felt empty and quiet. It was like walking round your old school when you are all grown up and none of your friends are there - or going back to the bedroom where you spent your childhood. Your name is scratched on a desk and your old trainers are there in the corner but you smehow feel out of place.

Dodos were from Mauritius, whereas a didgeridoo is Australian.  But I take your point.

But why has everyone gone and why should this be so different?

It took a few days to get my head round how this one worked but I am ok with it now I understand what the envelopes etc mean.

How does chocadmin feel about this?

Gonzo was fab and so was that chef and the little guy? What where their names?

You can get the Muppets teddy bears in the Disney Store now as Disney have taken over the ownership.

The chef was just the Swedish Chef, also one of my favourites.  Not sure who you mean by the little guy? Elmo?

Perhaps it wasnt the chef I was thinking of. Those 2 scientists maybe? One with a round head the other with a stick body.

The scientist was called Bunsen, Beaker was his unfortunate assistant... My mate Dave does a superb impression of Beaker, putting to rest the debate over whether or not Dave really is a muppet...

Of course - Bunsen!  Thanks Lemoneye.  My husband also does a passable Beaker impression, and a Swedish Chef!

TOTALLY AGREE. How can they sell a chocolate bar that tastes like that!
Title: Old Forum
Post by: goldencup on October 23, 2004, 02:55:20 pm
I haven't tried one but now I'm almost tempted just to see how bad it really is.  I don't like marmalade so that's not a good start.
Title: Old Forum
Post by: loulou on October 23, 2004, 02:58:03 pm
goldencup if you don't like marmalade you really won't like those kitkats.
Title: Old Forum
Post by: goldencup on October 23, 2004, 03:04:56 pm
I know, I just feel obliged to try one for some reason.  Then I'll treat myself to something nice to take the taste away!

Right I've done it and you're quite right - it's disgusting!  Thank goodness for the Doublechoc chaser I bought at the same time.  Mind you I could still taste the orange after that.
