Title: Skinny Cow ice creams
Post by: kevvosa on January 29, 2006, 11:32:28 am
I bought some last week with 50% extra free, anyone else tried them? Theyre low fat and low calorie ice creams.

They were ok but nothing compared to real ice cream. Nice if youre on a diet as there are under 100 calories in the bars.

My friend at work loves them, but they're expensive so I've not tried them.

I've tried them. They are quite nice and seem to be one of those products that have special offers like BOGOF or 50% free from time to time, which is why I bought them.

Mine were just chocolate, rather like a large chocolate mini milk. Talking of mint ice cream has anyone tried the new Ben and Jerrys ice dream... Minter wonderlan? Haven't indulged yet but sorely tempted.

The skinny cow ice creams are expensive. I only bought it cos it had 50% extra free, it made the price seem worth it.

The Skinny Cow range is quite nice for a low calorie range. Although they're expensive, they're worth it if on special offer because as well as being low fat/sugar, I think they have not artificial additives.

Haven't you ever said 'look at that skinny cow?' It's not dirty but perhaps a bit rude.

I think its a tongue in cheek thing. I quite like the name.

THey taste nice as well, just takes the ice cream/sweet craving away.

I suppose men don't say things like 'skinny cow' - it's a phrase said by jealous porky women.
