Title: Coffee shop tricks
Post by: kevvosa on January 27, 2006, 08:14:01 pm
Apparently coffee shops heat your coffee so that it warm as opposed to
hot. This isnt for your drinking pleasure, its so that they get you out
faster and make more money.

My friend told me about this today.

I have bought a Tassimo drinks maker and I think its odd how it makes tea, coffee and hot choc warm not hot.

Apparently tea is meant to be made with hot but not boiling water. Youre meant to leave the kettle a few minutes after boiling.

When I go to Starbucks there drinks are usually quite hot.

But I can understand where you are coming from Kevvosa. I know some restaurants have uncomfy chairs so you dont over stay your welcome
