Oh dear how desperate can they be to get these Z list celebrities and fly them from America and New Zealand.
-
Is there really someone called Maggot in it?
-
yes he is from some group but i don't know who
-
I was watching the second part of "three men in a boat" on BBC2 instead, it was funny!
Did I hear there is a celebrity in the BB house who is not really even a celebrity?
-
I was going to watch last night but I was a bit absorbed in my game boy

That's true Cherry, and I'm pig sick as that's exactly what I suggested to my mom that they should do when it was on last time! I should have written in and suggested it, I might have made a fortune! Mind you, with the likes of Faria Alam and Jodie Marsh in, how will they tell who the fake is?
-
There isn't a good line up this year, I dont know who some of the people are. Who is Traci, Rula and Preston? I just about know who Dennis is. Last years line up was quite good really.
-
Rula Lenska is an old actress, popular in the 70s and late 80s. Famous for her on/off relationship and marriage to Dennis Waterman of Minder and 'write and sing da feem toon' fame. Never heard of the other two.
-
Thanks smurfy

I dont like Jodie Marsh, she looks awful.
-
Wait til you see her without slap on. She is genuinely ugly.
-
Her nose and lips are yuck! Least Jordans face looks normal!
I have just been informed that Traci used to be on Baywatch.
-
Is there really someone called Maggot in it?
As in Maggot from the Welsh 'rap' group Goldie Lookin Chain?????
-
Yeah he is from GLC.
-
never heard of them, i must be getting old.
-
You mean you don't remember their hit from last year "Your mother's got a pe**s"?? It was such a classic.
-
Or You're Missus is a Nutter
-
Nope. I missed out again.
-
Never mind lou. They can be heard on their new single singing "I'll take you on a journey through R n B"
-
-
Amazingly cheesy!
-
And their hit from last year "Guns don't kill people, rappers do"
-
Did you hear how the DJs on radio 1 (in the afternoons, standing in for Scott Mills) mixed "journey through RnB" with the theme tune from Button Moon? Genius!
-

The fake celeb has been found out on BB
-
so soon. How? she had to fool them until Sunday or be evicted
-
She told one that her single had got to 47 and the other 58.
-
Well she didn't have to go into details. She only had to pretend to be in a group called Kandyfloss. Obviously she has elaborated a bit much and tripped herself up.
-
Quote from George Galloway:
"More young people vote during Big Brother than in the general election."
Sadly he's probably correct
-
-
The thing is she could easily have said, 'oh sorry, i meant our second single got to number 58'. It was easy enough to dig herself out of.
-
So is she being evicted tonight?
-
George Galloway is an obnoxious gobsh*te who should be in Parliament representing his constituants, not lounging around for weeks on a second-rate Tv show with a bunch of even more hopeless and pointless has-beens
-
Exactly - he gets paid enough to do it!
-
Was Michael Barrymore on some kind of ego trip or what when he went in?
Thought he was never going to go through the door!
-
Has the house got a swimming pool?
-
-
-
I heard something about there usually being an upside down gnome in the swimming pool but they took it out this time so as not to upset Barrymore.
-
Who do you think will win? I think it will be Barrymore or Traci.
-
Traci probably.
-
think barrymore needs a drink
-
he is a bit emotional but i am sure he wouldn't want a drink
-
I think Pete is in with a chance, would be very suprised if Barrymore wins.
-
What's all the fuss about Pete's coat?
-
Its made of Gorilla skin.
I would like to see Maggot win. He has not received a vote in the nominations. He seems quite sweet really.
-
I can't decide if I like any of them now. Jodie marsh has a nose like a ski slope and very bad skin doesn't she?
-
Face like a bag of spanners.
-
A bag of spanners would be quite useful.
-
I don't like Jodie Marsh, she is coming across very badly.
I preferred last years contestants. I know my parents haven't tuned in this year, due to the fact they don't know who half the people are!
-
I have not watched any of the Celeb BBs, they don't really appeal to me. I would like to watch one episode of the new ones though, just to see what everyone is like, I just haven't had the time yet. Maybe one look will get me hooked?
I have watched the last 2 series of non-celeb BB though.
-
I don't feel the need to watch it every day like I do with the non celebs. I have only seen about 2 or 3 episodes so far.
-
Feria woman went tonight.
-
Some of these pictures are funny:

-
I feel that Big Brother has turned into a cruel freak show. This series in particular has been populated by sad has-beens who are scraping the barrel of celebrity exposure, hoping for a come back.
It reminds me of Victorian days when you could go an view the lunatics in Bedlam for entertainment.
-
I remember hearing about that at school - you could pay extra to have a stick to poke them with! Not much has changed it seems...
-
When I seen the so called celebrities coming into this big brother i only knew rula lenska and michael barrymore.
-
Hey Lou!
I know what you mean. Having the fake celeb was a good idea, but it didn't work because the others were so obscure you could hardly tell which one it was!
-
-
I never did like Michael Barrymore. Now I know there's a whole new meaning to his invitation to "come on down".
-
Wasn't that Leslie Crowther?
-
I thought Barrymore did that 'top, middle or bottom' programme
-
Same here, I didn't know who half the people were and I have not been able to get into it since.
-
But my step dad is addicted to it.

-
Wasn't that Leslie Crowther?
I heard on the radio this morning they are doing a new series of Price is Right in a more daytime slot and the host will be Joe Pasquale!
-
I quite liked that programme.
Does anyone remember Going for Gold?
-
I loved going for gold, I used to watch it school lunchtimes as I went home for dinners. I still remember the theme tune...
-
"going for, going for, going for gold"

I loved watching it when I was off School sick.
How old are you Cherry?
-
I shall be 30 this summer
-
A big party!

-
A long holiday, more like!!!
-
Have you got any plans on what you will do for the day?
-
I am hoping for a holiday in Canada. I want to see Niagara Falls by helicopter on my birthday.
-
Thats a fantastic idea. Are you going to do it or is it just a thought?
-
More than a thought, but nothing is booked as him indoors can't fix his time off work yet. Cherry_Ripe38737.5145486111
-
Theres still time to book i'm sure. That would be a great experience.
-
We book everything last minute!
-
Can sometimes be the best way! It's a shame going to America is so expensive. It cost over a grand to go to New York for the weekend! I have seen cheaper deals though.
-
When we travel in Europe we book everything ourselves, not through a travel agent, so usually it's cheaper that way. Have never been outside Europe though, so don't know if I would be confident to do that with the Canada trip. We'll see!
-
David booked our trip through a travel agent. It was for my 21st so I think he wanted it all to be perfect. But if we went again I think I would book online, or at least give it a go!
-
I quite liked that programme.
Does anyone remember Going for Gold?
Henry Kelly was irritating
-
I was trying to think of his name.
-
-
Henry Kelly used to present Game for a Laugh with Matthew Kelly and when I was little I used to think they must be related!
-

I am not sure if I remember that show. I vaguely remember "Bob's Your Uncle"
-
Game for a Laugh was the show that introduced us to the wonder that is Jeremy Beadle...
Was Bob's your Uncle something to do with Bob Monkhouse?
-
I really can't remember. It was some sort of gameshow though.
-
http://www.ukgameshows.com/index.php/Bob%27s_Your_Uncle
I don't remember it at all!

-
Perhaps it wasn't called that

-
Going for Gold was ace! Waving Dutch women in shiny peach high necked blouses and with helmet hairdos! I used to love watching Neighbours and then Going for Gold.
-
I did too when my children were small.
All the presenters of Game for a Laugh were irritating - and so were the contenstants!
-
Rula has been voted out tonight and it's a double eviction on monday
-

I used to love the bizareness of going for gold. Usually one contestant whose first language was English, and 3 other foreign contestants (sure a disadvantage there!) And wasn't the idea that in the first series the prize was tickets to the olympics of that year?
