Come on then, what are everybody's New Year Resolutions? Just the usual ones of losing weight, getting fit etc or my old standby of resolving not to make any resolutions?
For the record, I intend to lost two stone by May and am taking up three new exercise classes. I'm also going to spend less time on the Internet and become a bit more 'girly'. I may even carry a handbag! Watch this space.....
-
we can't say, if we do ther wont com e true!
-
No 623 that's birthday wishes when you blow out the candles, not new years resolutions.
-
I too want to lose some weight.
-
I don't make new year's resolutions, I never keep em.

Not too much less I hope - we'd miss you!
I'm going to lose a stone and go to the gym more often.
-
-
I too am going to lose weight, be less frivolous with money, grow my fringe out and be more tolerant of people not as beautiful as me.
-
well think it will have to be the old faithful........diet !! well i work on the priciple that if i suceed then wont have any resolutions for next year so failiure is a good thing
-
-
I should resolve to buy less clothes. You wouldn't believe the stupid amount I have.
-
Yes I would!
-
Hello, happy new year everybody. I am back at work now
My resolution is to use the items I have hoarded instead of hoarding more!
-
Welcome back Cherry, we missed you!
Good resolution - one I could do with following. Thank god for 5p listing days on eBay...
-
Happy New Year CC

oh i do smurfy, i have clotheed that i have grown into, out of and back into !!! and lets not mention how many fashions have passed by in mean time lol !!!!
-
I like to keep all my clothes because every so many years they come back into fashion.
-
Face it Lou - those power suits with the padded shoulders are NOT going to come back into fashion! Are they?
-
Happy New Year everyone.
I resolve to lose some weight, being happy and contented has made me chubby! My first goal is half a stone.
I also resolve to pass my driving test. 4th time lucky!
-
Good luck CC, what did you fail on those 3 times?
-
First was the reverse park, second was reverse round a corner and the 3rd was the hill start (forgot to put the car in gear!!) and the reverse park.
-
CC when you pass your test are you getting a pink car?
-
I wish! I would love a Mini. Thats what I am learning to drive in.
-
There is a girl in Plymouth drives a pink Suburu Impreza (not sure of the spelling). Cherry_Ripe38723.3433217593
-
Cool! Is it hot pink or baby pink?
-
Bright pink. My sister (who is training to be a car mechanic) works with the company who customised the car. It is not entirely dissimilar to this one: http://www.jon44w.com/site3/viewthread.php?tid=907
-
It is nice, I bet it costs loads though!
-
I would love a black or a red mini. I am dying to pass my test!

I'd like that car
-
I would any car. Well almost any!
-
I think of cars as male so I am happy with my blue car. He is a bit of a troublesome teenager but not so bad that I want to get rid of him.
-
I don't know if I will get my own car or just share David's. I won't use it for work cos I get the train.
-
I used to only use my car at weekends and the battery goes flat often if you don't use it much, particularly if it's just short journeys. I don't have a battery problem now as I use my car every day.
-
I will have to weigh up the pro's and con's of having my own car. Me and David spend most of our time together anyway, and its an expensive toy as we are saving up for a place as well.

I used to know someone who had a white Mini with a hot pink roof. At the time I thought it was hideous but I might warm to the idea now.
-
GC as the days go by I feel you becoming a more pinkier person.lol
-
You're absolutely right there Lou. A year ago I wouldn't have been seen dead in pink - now I even have a hot pink cello case!
-
Imagine if you could get a pink cello. Instruments would look good in bright colours. I would like a pink violin.
-
I think a red violin would be nice
-
Red your fave colour then boo?
-
Yes, definitely

You can get brightly coloured violins but I've never seen cellos.
-
I can't play an instrument but could carry one as a fashion acessory
-
Mine would make a pretty heavy accessory.
-
Yes you need something smaller like a recorder.

Here you are Loulou

-
Yuk! Everyone had to play the recorder when I was at school. Once a week each class took it in turns to play the recorder in assembly. Those terrible, screechy school recorders, always played badly, could put you off playing an instrument for life. All classes ever played was London's Burning or Polly put the kettle on.
-
Want one
-
or Three Blind Mice
-
The recorder sounds wonderful when played by someone really good but excruciating played out of tune by a group of year 2's.
-
I used to play the recorder when I was at School
-
I was in recorder club at school too. I had a wooden recorder but most other peoples' were brown plastic. London's Burning and Three Blind Mice - I definitely remember playing those tunes a lot...
-
I had a brown one. I think I may even have played in an assemberley
-
I remember someone knocking my front tooth out when they banged into me playing the recorder at lunchtime recorder club. I think I was about 4 years old!
-
That's a nightmare, because your adult teeth don't come in for years. I knocked both my front teeth out as a five year-old and was stuck with a gap for four years.
-

Sorry
-
I don't remember having a gap that long. I need to look at my old school photos...
-
I think I was about 6 or 7 when I lost my front teeth.
-
me too
-
For some reason when you knock them out, the new ones come through even later. That's what my dentist said anyone. My son had his missing for years.
-
I have 5 adult teeth missing. I am a dential miricle and I owe a lot to Guys hospital and my dentist!

Removed or never grew?
-
Never grew. My baby teeth fell out and the adult ones never came through. My 2 front teeth at the bottom, both molars and 1 canine is missing. My dentist has done a great job though. My teeth are perfect.
-
My dentist is absolubtely gorgeous and he can prod about my mouth all day if he wishes. I must keep concentrating though and remembering when he says 'open wide' he doesn't mean my legs.
-

-
You dirty ho
-
I never had any good looking ones.
-
I don't like it when opticians get really close to your face. Particularly if they have been drinking coffee
-
I know what you mean, it's vile. The last eye test I had was a nice young lady and she didn't have bad breath.
-
My latest resolution is to get five stars.
-
And you will in no time oldspice. A couple of days of WA and you will be there.
-
i don't have the time!
