My name is Pamela, I'll be your waitress this evening. We have a wide range of specials available this evening, which you can see on the baord above the fireplace; unfortunately we are out of the Monkfish. Today's soup of the day is leek and potato, and our roast of the day is duck. Can I get you some drinks at all?

We have a choice of roast, boiled or mashed potatoes today. All meals come with a selection of seasonal vegetables.

I'm afraid beef was yesterday's roast of the day madam. However, I can recommend the fillet mignon with wild mushroom sauce? Our chef does things with funghi you wouldn't believe.
