Title: Fry’s Turkish Delight - vegetarian
Post by: Frank121 on December 05, 2005, 03:30:45 pm

There was a discussion some while ago about whether Turkish Delight is vegetarian.

I have found a website that states that Fry's Turkish Delight is definitely vegetarian.

I think it's made with something horrible.

I love it. I think it's one of those real 'love it or hate it' things - I never meet anyone who says it's 'ok'.

I like the turkish delight with all the white icing on , not a big fan of fry's as I don't like the choc.

I think Bounty (the bar, not the person!) provokes similar extremes. I despise them, but if I have a box of Celebrations at work I have people queuing up to take them off my hands.

Not had the Sainsbury's ones, but Asda and Ashbury's are good.

I like Fry's Turkish delight but I like CDM Turkish more.  Real Turkish Turkish delight is a bit heavy but very nice.

Smurfy do you not like plain Bounty's either?  For some reason they are harder to come by than the milk version, but are superior.

It's the coconut I don't like, so really milk, dark or white chocolate doesn't make any difference to me.

There's a thought - White Bounty. Any Bounty fans fancy that idea?

No, too sickly.  I like milk choc ones but husband likes plain.
