I like this one:
Humbug, humbug Chrimbo is dead
I've drank too much vodka and fell on my head.
I like that one! And the one with Christie McCall.
If you mean Kirsty McColl that's my fave too.
I love Merry Christmas - War Is Over.
I also like the Kirstie McColl song (with The Pogues).
Going back a bit, also like The Little Drummer Boy.
Christmas songs I hate include:
Simply having a Wonderful Christmas Time (utter rubbish)
Last Christmas (Wham)
I quite like 'I saw mummy kissing santa claus'
I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
She didn't see me creep
Down the stairs to have a peep;
She thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom fast asleep.
Then, I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white;
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night
Sing it .
Anyone know 'The Little Boy That Santa Claus Fogot@ Think it's by Nat King Cole. Blinkin tearjerker!
I am crying as I type this.
Hes the little boy that santa claus forgot,
And goodness knows, he didnt want a lot.
He sent a note to santa
For some soldiers and a drum,
It broke his little heart
When he found santa hadnt come.
In the street he envies all those lucky boys,
Then wanders home to last years broken toys.
Im so sorry for that laddie,
He hasnt got a daddy,
The little boy that santa claus forgot.
Spoken:
(you know, christmas comes but once a year for every girl and boy,
The laughter and the joy they find in each brand new toy.
Ill tell you of a little boy that lives across the way...
This little fellas christmas is just another day.
Hes the little boy that santa claus forgot,
And goodness knows, he didnt want a lot.)
In the street he envies all those lucky boys,
Then wanders home to last years broken toys.
Im so sorry for that laddie,
He hasnt got a daddy,
The little boy that santa claus forgot.
here my faroute ones:
the prenedter - 2000miles there a n evil comal mining stana in it:
wham last Xmas
Spitting imgine: stana cluase is on the dole:
Im so sorry for that laddie,
He hasnt got a daddy,
Those lines are a bit naff! It's a sweet song but several things worry me:
Why are last year's toys broken? Doesn't he take care of his things?
Who gave him last year's toys? Was his daddy around then? If so, is the sub-text of this song that it's daddies who bring the toys and if they're not around 'Santa' will 'forget' you?
Alternatively, has Santa got early signs of dementia?
