Fredericks Dairies has launched a Cadbury Crème Egg ice-cream stick and Cadbury Dairy Milk with Orange Chips ice-cream bar.
The Crème Egg stick offers vanilla-flavoured ice-cream with a fondant sauce centre. There is a three-pack available now which retails at £1.99 and a single retailing at £1 will be available from January next year."

hmmm...weird time to release an ice cream! would like to try the cream egg one. they did do a cone kind of one before

What gives ice cream vans their distinctive smell?  It's a bit like aviation fuel.  Is it the refrigerant?

I think it's rancid ice cream curdling away in the ice cream machine. They are health death traps round here. If the ice cream doesn't kill you with e-coli the van will knock you down and flatten you.

Ice cream vans are the one no-no for me.  I'll risk burger vans and even the odd doughnut but I have a phobia about ice cream that has probably been defrosted and frozen several times.

GC, most of the mass produced ice creams such as walls, etc have no dairy cream in them so the risk of defrost/freeze scenario being dangerous is low.

A sure way to tell if it has been subjected to temperature abuse is to look for ice crystals on it. If there buy another.

I seen a documentary once where it said the germs were in the ice cream scoops.

Wow, I like creme eggs but in ice cream form? I'm not sure I'd actually
want that! They seem to release every chocolate bar in ice cream form
now, irritates me!
