Just thinking about this because of the Texan relaunch - has this disappeared? Not had one in years.

I think I only tried it once - is it hard toffee covered in dark chocolate?

Remember the song?

'All that chocolate and all that chew, just right for you, the Riesen chocolate chew, there's always a reason to count on you, and always a Riesen for a chocolate chew!'

I agree that the ones at UCI are scarily expensive.  I only seem to put a small handful in the bag and they're asking me for about four quid!

Go to Woolworths. They have 2 size cups next to the pic n mix. Small is
1.99 and large is 2.99. All you have to do is fill the cup and as long
as the lid goes on thats how much you pay.

Fooking bargain if you ask me. If you shake the cup as you go along, you can get more sweets in

It's like the salad bar at Morrisons - if the lid fits on first time, your tub's not full enough yet!

I like chewy jelly things like dummies as long as they are not sour or fizzy. I love lollypops if watching a film or football. Swizzle lollies are great but the best are the low sugar, real fruit ones from Whittards. They do some fantastic flavours including watermelon, key lime pie and licquorice (? bog - how do you spell it) flavour

There I go again. No brain today!

If you take all the wrappers off as you go you'll get more in too.

I see some people only putting a little in them tubs but I cram mine in and once I put that much in that when I shut the lid it leaked mayonnaise everywhere.

I saw a bloke at the salad bar in Pizza Hut once who filled his bowl so high he could hardly balance it. Then he picked up a whole tomato and carried it in his other hand!

I love the ice cream cones and the pink pigs in the pic n mix too. All
probably fake flavours but they are yummy!! I also like the red hearts
with the white foam underneath.

my friend assures me the trick to the salad bar with small plates is to apply a thick layer of potato salad first then again as required to cement everything in place and stop it falling off plate

I prefer to create a lettuce lining to the bowl. If you make sure the leaves come up above the top of the bowl, they will hold in your overflow.

Sometimes you can be real lucky and find a caterpillar in the lettuce.

Do they charge you extra for that?

Wow I have to say your guys cinemas, or as we call them here theaters have what sounds to be much better candies and things to choose from. Before I moved from another state they had that pick and mix deal which yeah was expensive, but where I live now they don't have anything like that at the movies. They carry Snickers popables, Snickers butter crucnh popables, milky way popables, milky way midnight popables, three musketeers popables, m&m's reg, peanut, and peanut butter, Goobers, rasinets, Junior Mints, starburst Jelly beans, sour patch kids, or sour patch spongebob candy depending which theater you're at, licourice, bon bon ice cream bites (these are in a small box you get like 5 maybe 6 not worth the price), gummie bears, chocolate covered gummie bears also known as muddy bears, that's all I can remember as far as candy goes. They also have soft pretzels (depending which theater I have been to this one theater 2 times and both times they were tough as heck and bearly chewable there are better ones in other theaters), Hot Dogs, Nachos, and some have pizza.

I LOVE the Starburst Jelly Beans. I got a bag when I was in New York and they are delisious. I could have brought so much more but David wouldn't let me. Apparently we didn't go there to come back with a suitcase full of sweets. Thats what I went there for, only partly joking.
