Does anyone remember Strawberry Aero? I think its been mentioned
before. Apparently it was out VERY briefly years ago. There was also a
lime one - anyone tried it?
I think it would be better if they brought strawberry flavour back to
replace the Irish Cream one with. No one I know really likes the Irish
Cream flavour, but everyone loves the Sticky Toffee one.
-
I don't mind the Irish Cream one, its eatable but I wouod much prefer a strawberry one with pink bubbles inside

Why not have both? The more choice the better!
-
Well said!
The strawberry one would have to have a pink wrapper
-
True but if Irish Cream doesnt sell well, they may just replace it.
There always seems to be loads of Irish Cream ones left on the shelves
but Sticky Toffee is almost always sold out.

Really?
I was thinking they should do a lime green coloured wrapper
-
I think a white wrapper with big pink squashy lettering - an all-pink wrapper would put off some male buyers.
-
Not the ones who wear pink shirts.
-
I'm wearing a pink dress right now.
-
Where are you performing?
-
Yes, there were strawberry Aero in the late 70s with a pink bubbly wrapper! In the early 70s there was also a lime flavour with lime green bubbles! But remember, this was the days when the bar was made by Rowntrees and the quality of the chocolate and fillings was much better. Nestle have changed all that. Look what they've done to the Toffee Crisp bar and Lion Bar. Cheap chocolate coatings! So if they do bring back the flavours of the past, don't expect anything to taste as good as they did back then!
But then, I'm the only person old enough to remember them so why should you worry??
-
Where are you performing?
What do you mean, performing?
-
You're not the only person to remember them Oldspice. I vaguely remember the lime Aero but I very definitely remember that Toffee Crisps and Lion Bars used to have a good thick layer of decent quality chocolate and were delicious!

I guess this is true in a way. But it might up the sales of girls buying them?
Maybe it should be a white wrapper with pink lettering on like has been mentioned.

You look very pretty but the green shoes clash.
-
And the orange hand bag is not setting it off too well.

kitkat instead of teh chucky, new passion,
this problay why TEXAN were lost! and galxley counters
-
No, Txans were lost because of the miners' strike. That is what Nestle keeps telling us. The coal miners go on strike and chocolate production grinds to a halt. Obviously Nestel factories back then were coal powered.
-
mmm I doubt THAT very much!!!! did you stil have sweets during the miner stirke?
the Tunnocks Tea Cake & carmel waffes were still made.
I bet this was a con it get rid of sweets! is this way counter, adn teh samll bags of sport alosort were scarp?
-
Of course we still had sweets! It was a miners' strike, not a national strike! Texans were the only victims. Strangely, i don't think any of Nestle's other products were affected!
-
Ah, the miners' strike! Fond memories of constantly getting out of doing homework - "We had a power cut Sir!"
-
I 'm sure I was born just after that!!!!!
actully half of fife Was full of coal pits ( here the history for today) was, well all most of the pit in scotland were in FIFE. so lot of trouble here!
