Title: Desert Island Chocolates
Post by: smurfboy on October 28, 2004, 03:40:55 pm

I guess I don't need to explain this one... just like Desert Island Discs, but your task is to choose eight chocolate bars you would have with you. In fact, let's say a constant supply of these eight bars, to save questions (there's a magical vending machine on the island.) Current bars only please (the vending machine isn't magical enough to resurrect Aztec bars)!

I won't post mine yet - I have to get back to work and this will take a while...

EA-SY!

(in no particular order of preference!);

  1. Galaxy Ripple

  2. Boost

  3. KitKat Chunky caramel

  4. Flake Dipped

  5. Galaxy Hazelnut

  6. Maraboue

  7. Nestle Double Chocolate

  9. Mint Aero (just for a refreshing change)

  10. Marks and Spencer 'Ecuador' big milk chocolate bar - (anyone else tried this? It's GORGEOUS!)

 - that was actually a bit harder than I expected! I had to be quite ruthless and leave some of my other favourites out....

Oh bugger....Cote D'or. I knew I'd forget one. That's three over now - sorry!

Can it only be chocolate bars smurf? If it was bags of chocolate 'Revels' would be just about all I'd need.....

Hmmm... what do we think everyone? Is Revels cheating?

A bag's a bag!

Surely my case is firmer for the fact that Revels also contain Maltesers?!

I think Maltesers/Revels are a valid choice.  I'd go for:

Crunchie, Double Decker, Double Choc, Tunnock's Caramel Wafer, Sainsbury's White Chocolate, Galaxy Caramel, Bounty (milk), Marble.  I think!

I can't quite put into words how much I love Revels.

They're perfect.

I just wish someone would realise it would be a fantastic idea to expand the 'Revels' market to Australia! They sell like hot-cakes in the very obscure, Brit-expat run sweet shops. Mars could make an absolute FORTUNE! People are willing to pay $3 for a small packet (yup, guilty).

Sorry, rant over with...!

Never tried that one. New one to add to the list.

Is it a sweet or sour orange taste? I'm not fond of the new KitKat Seville orange!
