Title: Opal Mints
Post by: oldspice on September 11, 2005, 04:44:12 pm

They were deliciously minty and creamy tasting. They were chewy but never brittle or hard. They were divine. In the 1970s they suddenly changed the name to Pacers, then added a green streak, then got rid of them altogether. WHY OH WHY OH WHY?

I can taste than minty creaminess - they were juicy in the same way that Opal Fruits were juicy, if you know what I mean. Nothing could equal them.

I remember them in just the same rose-tinted way.  Sigh......
