I am spending the whole day in my jamas watching tv and eating sweets. A right lazy trout day.
I have been watching Hollyoaks omnibus but god only knows what its all about.Later I will send out for Chinese and watch the X Factor.

I waited up half the night for my eldest daughter to
get home after her week's holiday in Tenerife, looked
at her photos, admired her tan, told her off for not
putting enough sun cream on in the places she got
sunburn, quizzed her about what she got up to,
general Annoying Mum things. It's one of my few
pleasures in life. I sorted out a few sweetie orders
and replied to some emails. It's pouring with rain
here, there's currently a major thunderstorm going
on so I'm going to have a nap and catch up on some
sleep then become Nagging Mum again, maybe
take my lovely dog (Odey, Golden Labrador) out for a
walk.

I have walked the dug, done some packing (moving house next month), done some laundry, walked the dug again. Later will order a curry and watch TV with a nice bottle of red.
Today's treats have been, so far, a pain au chocolate from the French Market in town, and a packet of Wonka Fruity Wobble Drops (my fave rave at the minute).
Have ordered some Ameretto Sultanas from Hotel Chocolat but they won't come until October

Lou, your day sound lovely. I'd really love a day like that. I have been shopping (food mostly but did buy a suit for work) and done loads of housework. Soon I will cook an evening meal then we are meeting friends in the pub and going on to a gig (Led Zepplin tribute band).

Played 'Championship Manager' for three hours, only for it to perform an 'illegal operation' and lose all my game
About to go to the gym, more for a laze in the steam room than for any exercise!
-
smurfy was the steam room good?
-
Walked my sister's two labradors this morning, then did the washing and shopping. Played the music for a lovely wedding this pm. Tonight I cooked for four of my sons' friends and now I'm skulking in what is laughingly called the 'dining room' although we never eat in here, as they are all playing Halo (computer game).
-
I have just had a nice long bubble bath, sweet and sour prawns, watched x factor and thinking of going to bed and reading.
-
Noooooooo, stay and play WA with me!
-
Well of course I will now you are here.

I had a lovely nap, ordered enough Chinese food to
feed an army, didn't eat very much of it, covered it up
and left it for my daughters and their mates to eat
upon their drunken return tonight. I slumped on the
sofa and watched Billy Elliott, it made me cry. I ate a
bag of Revels and almost gagged each time I got
coffee one but I still ate them.
-
I enjoyed the gig very much. The band were very convincing - sounded just like Led Zepplin. Of course, if LZ were still together I'd rather have seen them!
My son taped Last Night of the Proms for me so I can watch that tonight!
-
I love tribute bands - we have a local pub that has a lot of the fairly famous ones like Dirty DC.
-
I watched Billy Elliott on Sat night too.
-
A few years ago I watched Billy Elliott on a flight to Australia. It was the only film available that appealed to me so I probably watched it about four times, mostly in the wrong order!
-
On Saturday I got a lovely pair of brown combat trousers from River Island and generally walked round Maidstone town centre.
I came home and cooked some dinner. potatoe wedges and sausages for him, chicken tagliatelle (sp?) for me.
It then rained and rained and rained! Lots of thunder and lightening.
We was due up the pub so we dashed out to the car, got soaked! As we
were driving up the road the streets were seriously flooded. Some poor
folks had the water up to there front doors! We got even more soaked
dashing to the pub. But an enjoyable evening was had by all. On the
journey home all the water had gone and you would not have guessed
there was flash floods only 3 hours previously!
