Title: New Texan bar
Post by: catch23 on September 08, 2005, 10:19:34 pm

Is there anyone out there old enough to tell me if the new Texan bar is smaller than the original one?

It doesn't seem as thick as before, but seeing as I last had one 20 years ago it might just seem that way!

Sadly I'm old enough, the new Texan does seem
much smaller, I'm sure that the original ones were
flatter and wider. I think that the filling was more
orangey in colour too and a bit more chewy, although
if you eat the new texan after chilling it for a while it's
almost as chewy.

The new ones are shaped a bit like the old small Goldencup Bars. The old ones were longer and a bit thicker and squarer at the corners (if you knowwhat I mean). The filling is softer in the new ones.
