Had one just now.
Weight is up to 60g from the 54g one shown on site.
I feel it has gone back to it's original taste (it went nasty a while back).
I really enjoyed it!

I love Drifter bars. They always seemed creamy and chewy in a similar way to Tunnock Wafers. However, the last time I had one (about six months) it tasted overpoweringly sweet and I have not touched one since. I am glad you noticed the change too Paulham cos it tells me I am not just too fussy or getting funny tastes in my old age.
-
It had that old "buttery" taste to the caramel again.
-
I love drifter.
-
Me too! I actually prefer them to Kit Kats. Love the soft chewy texture to them.
-
I have never tried a 'Drifter', or 'Double Decker' for that matter.
Think I have some catching up to do....
-
you certainly do.
-
Drifters are gorgeous! You have been missing out Chocoholic! Imagine a Twix but with wafer instead of biscuit - two sticks of bliss!
-
All this talk of drifter is making me want one right now.
-
Tried my first Drifter today!
The verdict:

-
Very good.pleased you enjoyed it.
-
Aghhh, I'd not had a drifter for years and years until I read this post last night and I ate two today!! They are amazing!
-
Im a fan of drifters not a bar i would have every day but every now n again there very nice
-
I could happily eat them every day.
-
I too had my first Drifter in years last week... i had forgotten how good they are!
-
-
Lion bars are rubbish now though. I used to love them.
-
I used to love picnic but no more.
-
So nice!
I am in pain today. I did a "Spinning" class at the gym last night and now have a sore "gooch" (that being the bit between the balls and the ass crack...) I think it may be bruised...
-
How did that happen?

-
YOUR OWN FAULT FOR BEING SILLY.
-
What were you spinning on your gooch?
-
T...M....I!!!!
Hope your gooch recovers soon though.
-
Do we really want to hear about lemoneyes nether regions??
-
Drifters are fantastic. I had the first one in ages a couple of weeks ago. Lovely and chewy!
-
Well everyone the Drifter (http://www.chocolatemission.net) is back!!
-
I don't think it ever went out of production. The quote you attribute to Nestle actually came from a marketing e-news site (Paulham may remember which one, I've forgotten), and I wouldn't mind betting some lazy copywriter remembers Nestle briefly reintroducing the retro brown Drifter packaging, assumed it was a relaunch and didn't bother to check.
-
Drifters used to be nice but they're way too sweet now.
My God. This is an old post. I'd forgotten all about Lemoneye! How could I forget those wonderfully friendly exchanges we used to have? And why on earth was he posting about his crotch in the middle of a post about Drifter?
-
Why is Jim pulling out threads that are 4 yrs old?
-
well sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorry
-
On some forums they get a bit sniffy if you start a new topic for something that's already got one (remember Bring it Back?)
-
Ah yes - who could forget 'Pandapants'
-
I haven't been on that site for yonks.
-
We never get sniffy here so feel free to start new topics Jim.
