LOOK MATE, IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO JOIN IN THE CHAT AND BE A PROPER MEMBER YOU CAN GET LOST.  STOP TRYING TO GET FREE ADVERSTISING SPACE WITHOUT PUTTING ANYTHING BACK!

Felixo, because of your consecutive adverising here I really don't wanna visit your shop.

And not just me I think.

Is this your purpose?

I probably will visit - you can't beat cheap chocolate! As for putting anything back - that doesnt bother me - if he hadn't come onto the forum i may have never seen his site - same as with British Candy - i ordered from them and was delighted!

OK, it's your opinion, but for me it's annoying cause this guy don't wanna be a proper member (like Oldspice sad). Is this an advertisig spot?

Just tell me if i'm wrong.

Adverts of this type - with pictures and prices stated etc, put chochadmin in a difficult position. To whom do we complain if the service is poor or if this is just a rip-off? Legally, organisations that accept advertising must accept some responsibility for the actions of those advertising. This guy has just loaded up his advert and invited us to subscribe. It's not at all like inviting us to visit his website.

Chocadmin kick these advertisers off. We don't want them on here.

It is tricky, particularly with an advert like that. He's operating as an eBay merchant so probably isn't a 'proper' business anyway.

I'm re-examining the commercial hosting route (as at least then I could legitimately charge people for such advertising), just waiting to find out how much it's going to cost me in bandwidth charges (the site can generate over 10Gbytes of traffic a month).

What did his advert say? Looks like I missed it. Am new to this site but was hoping to find out where I can buy some Milka in the UK as it's my favourite

Hello snip snip, don't get your problem. Surely good to know where to get foreign chocolate in the foreign chocolate section. I am happy to chat about it. Felixo

In the UK, advertisers have to abide by advertising law and organisations that accept advertising have to mkae sure advertisers keep within the law. You can direct us to your website but you can't place adverts with pics and prices.

You should enter into the spirit of the Forum and chat about chocolate, sweets or other things. That's what it is for.

Ok, that's fine with me. Sorry, I was just a bit excited about my new shop. If you guys have any queries about my trustworthiness you can visit my feedback page on Ebay. Ciao Felixo

So, what do you think of Uk chocolate? Do you actually enjoy eating chocolate or do you just sell it?

Woolies has quite a big range.

Milka in Woolies? Not where I live....Life's not the same in a chocolate sense since I left Germany. Some days I'd kill for a few slabs of Ritter Sport *sigh*

Yes, my corner shop sells Rittersport and my Woolies (not a big branch) sells Milka.

Rittersport is very hard to find here but I love the hazelnut one.

I also like Ritter Sport. It's almost as good as Lindt Smile

It' s hard to buy it so I must stock up in Germany.

I'm just savouring RS dark with mint filling, mmmmm...

My Waitrose sells Ritter Sport. I think Tesco does too. I think it's a bit over-priced for what it is.

I've never tried it - keep meaning to

In Germany it costs something like 0,5 Euro. So it's not that much for quite tasty chocolate I think.Smile

Hey folks, thanks for your input. never seen Ritter Sport over here myself, but good to know it is available. The woolworth milka range comes no where near my selection! Plus mine are import chocolates anyways. Prices are fair as well if you consider postage and ebay charges... Will list some more Swiss Choclate like Swiss Delice and Camile Bloch soon. Anyone seen them over here yet? All the choclates I have I ate since I was little and I usually only go for tastes I like (hence hardly any dark choclate on the site).

Yes you can get Swiss Delice here.  Somerfield sell it.

A lot of corner shops seem to stock rittersport, as does the co-op

In Germany they did Rittersport with Smarties in, but over here they launched them as Smarties bars.

Felix what varieties of Milka do you sell?

Title: Milka and more...
Post by: chocolate chick on September 09, 2005, 07:24:42 pm
I like the one with yogurt in

I liked the one with popping candy in, not sure if they still make it
though. They also did ones similar to double berry which was white
chocolate with strawberry pieces in and some sort of soft white
chocolate centre.

Are you telling me that Rittersport is made by Nestle - if they have Smarties in ? I hope not!
Title: Milka and more...
Post by: nougatine83 on September 10, 2005, 02:08:58 pm

Ritter Sport isn't made by Nestle.

No doubt about it.

I have white RS with smarties and there is small sign Nestle (and also on the milk one)  but you won't find it on the rest of RS' bars.

No, Nestle teamed up with Rittersport but only in Germany cos Rittersport is more popular there.

That's why in the UK they simply launched "Smarties bars" rather than Rittersport with Smarties.

Are you sure?

Why they don't mention about it on their wrappers? Confused

If it is like you say, it should be there.

I just have read on Ritter Sport's site that they are cooperating only to produce Ritter Sport & Smarties.

That's good to know. I love Ritter Sport (especially the Yoghurt one MMMMMMMMM) but not a fan of Nestle.

I will be in germany the whole of next week and will bring back some ritter sport marzipan. Any other products you want me to offer on my site? will also go to Italy and enjoy the sunshine after my stay in germany by the way. Except for Kinder there won't be to much nice chocolates I can bring back from there, or?
