Title: After Eight Straws
Post by: kevvosa on September 03, 2005, 05:26:50 pm
Anyone tried these? Look in Woolies. They are rather minging, the
combination doesnt work well at all, there is too much mint filling, it
tastes sort of like toothpaste.

In the middle of cleaning my teeth the other morning the phone rang. I answered it with a mouthful of toothpaste thinking it was my mam and I would tell her to hold on but it wasn't. Because it was someone I needed to speak to I swallowed and spent the rest of the day wanting to be sick.

I know but then I won't be able to but anything else for the next 13
days! It's good practice for when I move in with David. I can imagine
things are gonna be tight!

I'd say they're more likely to melt.

Try using them as straws to drink coffee. Well that's what they're
called so technically you should be able to use them that way.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Perhaps I will just have them with a glass of milk.

I liked these, though admittedly they were a bit heavy on the mint. But, they are nice for having with a cup of tea or coffee.

I prefer choc with hot choc  The coffee or tea usually spoils the taste but hot choc just compliments it and makes the chocolate nice and melty.

Burning your tongue on something hot is worse.

I hate burning my tongue or my mouth. If I do, skin from the roof of my
mouth peels off and stings. It always seems to happen if I'm checking
cooking to see if it tastes done.
