Title: Men & Jewellery..................
Post by: loulou on August 28, 2005, 04:20:19 pm

Question for all you males. What items of jewellery do you wear on a regular basis?

Question for females: Do you think jewellery on men looks good?

I don't like to see a man over 30 wearing an earring and I don't like necklaces or bracelets on any men of any age. I do like to see a nice watch and I like the watch to be chunky and silver not gold.

I only like men wearing small, slim rings like wedding bands. Thick chains of silver and gold and big, chunky rings look ugly, chavvy and very common.

 I am such a snob.

I agree a slim wedding band looks nice but when men wear all those big sovereign rings it does look tacky and common.

You couldn't pay me to wear a sovereign or gold chains, but I do wear pendants/crosses a lot - you know the sort of thing. I do have a gold signet ring with a black stone which I love; I wouldn't choose it now, but it was an 18th present so it has sentimental value.

My boyfriend wears one of those cuff earrings. That looks good on him.
When we get married I would like him to wear a wedding ring. But thats
about all I would want him to wear. I also prefer white gold opposed to
gold

I missed this the first time around.  I have two earrings, one in each ear.  They're circular with a ball clamp.  I have my white gold celtic wedding ring and will be getting a lovely chunky silver skull ring in the future that isn't chavvy in the least.
