Fixed, and finally realised why the javascript validation was stopping me from forcing selection of an icon before putting it on the map

Hi

Sorry to dissappoint anyone, but I order 60 texan bars online and they are nothing like they used to be, they are so soft and small.

Bring back the NUTTY BAR I say.

Regards Jacqui

I can't get the link to work properly but I've seen them
in a BP petrol station in Southgate, North London. I
haven't seen them anywhere else yet.

I found the Texan Bars in a little shop in whitburn called Keystore.

I was slightly deflated in trying them. Not as I remember them. Paid 99p for 4 of them. They were very thin and small. Chocadmin, have you tried them yet ? I could post one on to you but you may be disappointed.

Can ne one remember Argentinas if thats their real name.

for anyone living in Belfast i had a texan bar from a shop on the Belmont road.  i don't remember the name of the shop as i was very hung over and i needed my sugar fix.  to be honest i thought the texan was a new bar and that is why i bought as i have never seen it before in my life.

The newsagents at the triangle in Bournemouth, next to the watch shop, (it's name escapes me) has Texans apparently as hubby brought me one home tonight!

Very nice but the same jaw breaking choccy I loved, you could never bite right through a Texan bar first go before! Still the taste is the same!

Oooh, thanks spunkdustbin - that's just down the road!  (Dodgy guy in that shop though, he always assumes everyone's shoplifting, probably with good reason!)

Yep, 4 for a quid in my local shop.

They do seem softer but you know, when you remember choc bars,
especially one as hard and chewy as this one, you're glad it is a bit
softer. You have fillings to worry about now.

I thought they were only around for a limited period. Yet it seems like they will be around for a while.

Thanks BC. I was in town yesterday but didn't go in Woolies. Town was abosultely packed. I think I'm going  to avoid it on Saturdays and go on Friday nights after work instead. I can't stand crowds and all the frantic build up to Christmas. i mean yesterday was November 12 - and in W H Smiths they were playing I wish it could be Christmas everyday. Imagine the poor staff having to listen to that however many times a day for the next six weeks.

I hate crowds too. And they were also playing Xmas songs in Poundstretcher today, bloody annoying.

Loulou,

The press release we was sent said that Texans would only be around for a limited time, many sources mentioned a 6 week period! I think that was back in August! We keep a pallet full in stock at all times

I hate the Christmas crowds too, i've done 90% of my Christmas shopping on-line! I managed to get nearly everything I wanted from play.com and amazon.co.uk lol

By the way, our Retro sweets gift baskets and hampers make a perfect Christmas gift

I have done most of my Christmas shopping on line this year too. Just
need to get a few bits from the shops when I get paid next and I will
be done!

I can't stand the crowds either. If the shops were open 24/7 I bet there'd still be crowds.
