Lou, I have got a Cherry Ripe in my fridge. It is supposed to be like a Cabana. It's by cadburys and I bought it today in Stamford, Lincolnshire for 99p. Now, I am told that these are made, but not sold, in the UK. WHY NOT??????

I'll let you know what it's like.

I don't think Cherry Ripes are much like Cabanas.  They're quite nice though.

It's not a bad size for s standard bar. It was 99p because they are Australian so a premium price. It's to make you think they're imported but I don't think they are.

The taste is not very cherry tasting but they are OK. Flat and thin with a chewy coconut ice tasting filling which is very deep red.

They are very moreish. I comfort myself in the fact that i did not eat the whole pack, I saved 4 for my mum

The are described as Cherry and coconut macaroons with a cherry layer in the middle covered in Old Gold chocolate

Cadbury's Tukish Delight or Cadbury's Dairy Milk Turkish as it is now known has been on sale here in Northern Ireland for as long as I can remember. Can somebody tell me how long it has been on sale in the rest of the UK for.  Was it sold in Great Britain as Cadbury's Turkish Delight and then re-branded as Cadbury's Dairy Milk Turkish or were the bars on sale here in Northern Ireland imported from the Irish Republic.

Also does anybody out there know how long it has been sold in Northern Ireland

Erm good question! I think it used to be sold as Cadbury's Turkish
Delight in medium sized bars, in the same style as Tiffin and 3 Wishes,
but then they disappeared, and when Cadbury's rebranded everything, it
becamce Cadbury's Dairy Milk Turkish.
