Tried googling 'mint Ferrero Roche' after someone reminded me of them and the only result was the old version of this forum. This place is great! I'd forgotten all about Secret bars... :)
Anyone remember mint Ferrero Roche? They were like normal ones but the praline stuff was replaced by a clear liquid mint centre. Genius!
Were they a limited edition? Can't remember seeing them in shops for years but I thought they were a standard product at the time. I'd love to get my hands on some of these again...
Hi Beaner,
They were indeed a 'permanent' addition to the range at the time and were around for several years, but are sadly no more
P.S. Try your Google search again using 'Fresco Mint' - that was their proper name.
I didn't think Ferrero Roche was that despised.
Does nobody else try to bite off all the chocolate and nuts around the outside then, without smashing the wafer? Or am I a bit strange...
Loulou and I both said we love them. And yes, I have been known to eat them as described!
Unlike with other types of chocolate I don't find myself being a nibbler with ferrero roche. I tend to open my mouth, and in it goes in one go.My friend is a chambermaid in a hotel and she gets loads of them because she has to put them on the pillows when she makes the beds.
Ooh those chambermaid outfits turn me on
You sound like Charlie Brown
My friends uniform is a long frumpy dress that she hates wearing and a little lacy cap.
Tried looking for Fresco Mint instead. Nearest thing I got was this:

or, one which is actually about chocolate and has a page with interesting information that's nothing to do with the product:

Better than drinking liquid gold I suppose...
